- Lisboa Rewards Membership Program (“Program”) is governed by the Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) set out herein. The Program is operated and managed by SJM RESORTS, LIMITED (“SJM”), and which may be changed, modified, added, or removed portions of these Terms at any time by SJM sole discretion.
- The following T&C form the basis of participation in the Program. It is the responsibility of the Member to read, understand and remain knowledgeable of all of the Program rules, benefits and responsibilities under this T&C, inclusive of any amendments thereto. The enrollment as a Lisboa Rewards Member (“Member”) and / or the use of the physical Lisboa Rewards Membership Card / digital Lisboa Rewards Membership Card accessible via the GLP App (the “Membership Card”) constitutes the acceptance of the Program’s T&C.
- The submission of an application for membership to the Program is deemed to be an acceptance of these T&C and Lisboa Rewards Data Privacy Policy (“DPP”). Membership and Member’s entitlement to membership benefits, privileges of the Program, including but not limited to the awarding and redemption of Tier Points and Reward Points, is governed by these T&C and DPP.
Program Application
- The Membership Card is issued by SJM to the applicant. Only one membership per person is permitted.
- Only individual persons are eligible for Membership and shall not be granted to SJM employees, legal entities, corporate entities, other groups or associations.
- Applicants of the Program, must be 21 years of age or above and shall provide upon registration originals of their valid government-issued photo identification documents / travel documents subject to SJM acceptance. A photo will be taken upon registration for future verification.
- For the avoidance of any doubts, the Member expressly acknowledges and agrees that SJM may collect and use your image, other biometric data and likeness for security and money laundering prevention purposes; the Member further acknowledges and agrees that any data voluntarily provided when applying to become a Member may be used for compliance and other relevant background check purposes and for any other legitimate purposes as may be required, authorized or permitted by the applicable laws. The Member data will be used by SJM to assess the suitability to join and maintain the Membership and will be retained as long as the membership is valid or longer if required by Law or Regulation.
- An applicant may be requested to supply SJM with personal information: including but not limited to the applicant’s name, date of birth, address, email address, contact numbers, photo, other contact methods (such as WeChat) and valid government-issued photo identification documents / travel documents (being the applicant’s “Personal Data”). An applicant may refuse to provide certain personal information, but this may result in SJM being unable to provide or continue to provide services under the Program.
- Members participating in any campaigns, events and promotions (“Events”) under this Program agree to abide by all rules and conditions of such Events as published and amended by SJM from time to time. The Member shall accept as final and binding the decisions of SJM on relating matters and disputes.
- By enrolling in the Program and / or using your Membership Card, Members consent to the terms of the DPP and the sharing and storing of their personal information among all affiliates, subsidiaries, casinos, resorts, properties, partners and service providers of SJM. Members also consent to receiving promotional and informational communications from participating affiliates, subsidiaries, casinos, resorts, properties, partners and service providers of SJM. Members may opt-out of receiving marketing communications from (and / or opt-out from the sharing of personal information with) SJM, SJM’s partners, and / or other third parties, or may update their preferences by contacting Lisboa Rewards Membership Counter (“Counter”), but this may result in SJM being unable to provide or continue to provide services under the Program.
- Each Member is responsible for selecting a confidential Personal Identification Number (“PIN”) for his / her account as well as online log-in credentials (whether accessed through a personal computer, mobile device, kiosk, GLP app, websites, or other authorized electronic means), and for keeping the PIN and log-in credentials secure. Each Member is responsible for all transactions on his / her account when his / her confidential PIN or log-in credentials are used.
- A PIN will be required for all transactions including but not limited to: offer / promotion redemptions, reward redemptions, benefits realization, as well as for any Program activities. Member may be required from time to time to produce or update the PIN for security reasons.
- The Member is required to present a valid government-issued photo identification documents / travel documents, being the same name as stated on his / her Membership Card, when requesting that his / her confidential PIN be reset or changed or any other member activities if the Member identity is in doubt. The Member may be required from time to time to update the photo identification.
- If the Membership card(s) is lost or stolen, members must report this loss immediately in person to any Counter in order to deactivate the lost card and replace with a new card. SJM shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen cards and will not be held liable for any transactions made while the card is lost or stolen. Replacement of lost or stolen cards will only be issued upon presenting the Member’s valid government-issued photo identification documents / travel documents as mentioned in paragraph 6 above. SJM reserves the right to impose a fee for replacement of any Membership Cards.
- The charges for the replacement of Membership Cards are as follows:
- For Preferred Card, Prime Card and Premier Card Members, it is free for the first three (3) times to replace every year;
- For Prestige Card, Pinnacle Card, Novel Card and Noble Card Members, it is free with no limitation on replacement;
- If replace above limitation, Members need to pay MOP / HK 30 or deduct 30 Reward Points in his / her own account as the replacement fee per reissuance.
- The mentioned “every year” is the calendar year starts from 1 January.
- It is Member’s responsibility to inform SJM of any change in Member’s personal details by approaching the Counter in person. SJM is not responsible for any loss due to outdated information.
- Membership acceptance is at sole discretion of SJM and SJM reserves the right to accept or decline any Membership Application.
- SJM reserves the right, with or without notice, to terminate and / or suspend an individual’s membership, (including but not limited to) if a Member breaches the T&C; attempts to obtain Tier Points, Reward Points or benefits associated with the Program by providing false information or in any other improper or abusive way; behaves unruly while in the premises of SJM, its affiliates or its subsidiaries. Upon termination of membership, any Tier Points, Reward Points and benefits associated with the Program shall be considered expired / forfeited / ineffective.
- SJM reserves the right to deny access to Gaming Area to any Members / Patrons.
- The Membership Card is the property of SJM and must be returned unconditionally and immediately by Members upon SJM’s request.
Awarding of Tier Points and Reward Points
- Tier Points are awarded to Members upon presentation of the Membership Card in any transactions involving cash play in casinos and gaming areas operated by SJM (“Gaming Area”), as determined by SJM from time to time at its sole discretion.
- Tier Points are used to measure a member’s progress towards achieving a tier card upgrade, and served as a criteria for awarding entries / participation into marketing events / promotions and associated benefits.
- Tier Points shall only be awarded to Members with cash play when a valid Membership Card is presented. Expired and Invalid Cards will not be accepted.
- Retrospective claim of Tier Points will not be accepted.
- Members will be automatically downgraded, if (i) they fail to maintain the required number of Tier Points (as determined by SJM from time to time) within one hundred eighty (180) days period; or (ii) at the sole discretion of SJM.
- Reward Points are awarded to Members determined by Tier Points earned and Membership Card tier multiplier.
- One (1) Reward Point is redeemable for MOP / HK 1 at Program Participating Outlets, Lisboa Rewards counters or other applicable locations / channels. SJM retains the right to amend this ratio or Participating Outlets / redemption locations at its sole discretion without prior notice.
- Reward Points can be redeemed by Members to pay for goods and services, in total or partial depending on redemption location / categories.
- Reward Points cannot be used towards payment settlement for hotel bookings or any other bookings / payments made via travel agencies, online travel agent (“OTA”) and or any other third party company or agents, selected hotel discounted rates and / or vouchers.
- Items, products, and services purchased using Reward Points cannot be exchanged and refunded.
- Reward Points may not be used coincide with Membership Card tier discount and any other offers as stipulated in the Terms and Conditions.
- Reward Points are not redeemable for cash.
- Reward Points will expire after three hundred and sixty five (365) days as its earned and will be consumed first-in-first-out as its used.
Use of Membership Card
- Membership Cards, Tier Points, Reward Points and benefits associated with the Program shall only be used by Members. Any Tier Points or Rewards Points accumulated by a person other than the Member to whom the Membership Card belongs shall be deemed to be Null and Void.
- All Tier Points and Reward Points accumulated will be credited to the Member’s account within forty-eight (48) hours upon the transaction being posted onto the system.
- All Reward Points redeemed will be immediately deducted from the Member’s account.
- All unclaimed Tier Points or Reward Points requests must be made within fourteen (14) days from the transaction date, subject to the discretion of SJM approval.
- Successful Tier Points or Reward Points reinstatement will be credited to the Member’s account within fourteen (14) days from the date of approval.
- SJM has the sole and absolute discretion in making final decisions on granting any rewards or benefits associated with the Program the Member may be entitled to or on any dispute relating to the Lisboa Rewards Membership.
General
- SJM reserves the right to change or cancel any part of the T&C, the Program (including but not limited to any aspect or benefit of the Program) at any time without prior notice.
- Tier Points, Reward Points and benefits associated with the Program are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, benefits and discounts.
- SJM shall not be liable for any mistake in accumulation or calculation of Tier Points, Reward Points or the redemption for rewards, whether such mistake results from technical malfunction, operator’s fault, misrepresentation or any factor beyond the reasonable control of SJM or otherwise.
- SJM reserves the right to terminate or suspend any membership, including but not limited to, if the Member violates the Program T&C. Upon termination of the Membership, all Tier Points, Reward Points and benefits associated with the Program shall, in relation to that Member, be considered expired and ineffective.
- Except as permitted by these T&Cs, a member shall not transfer, sell, purchase, trade or barter a Membership Account / Card, Tier Points, Reward Points, Complimentaries ("Comps"), Offers / Promotions, or any associated membership benefits to another individual. Any Member who infringe this rule is subject to termination of the Program Membership and forfeiture of rewards including, but not limited to accumulated Tier Points, Reward Points, and / or benefits associated with the Program, and may be liable for damages and litigation costs, including any Program lawyers' fees incurred in enforcing this rule.
- If the Member has been barred from SJM properties or from gaming play by the management for business reasons or if requested by SJM or government authorities, this may result on the termination of Membership, demotion of the member's account status, forfeiture of all of the member's benefits including, but not limited to, accumulated Tier Points, Reward Points, benefits associated with the Programs and / or appropriate administrative and / or legal action by SJM or applicable governmental authorities. In addition, SJM reserves the rights to take appropriate legal action to recover damages, including its lawyers' fees incurred in prosecuting or defending any lawsuit related hereto.
- SJM shall be entitled to require Members to present originals of their valid government-issued photo identification documents / travel documents as stated in paragraph (6) upon participating in any activity in their capacity as Members for verification purpose and updating of their personal data. Those activities shall include but shall not be limited to Awarding or redeeming of Tier Points, Reward Points, or benefits associated with the Program.
- Membership benefits associated with the Program may be awarded to Members when their Membership Card is presented at the time of purchasing selected products / services offered by the participating outlets by cash or credit card. SJM shall determine the T&Cs applicable to such discounts or special offers on a case-by-case basis. Blackout dates may apply. Membership benefits associated with the Program shall not apply for transactions of purchases paid through the redemption of Reward Points, unless otherwise stated. Member may not use or enjoy discount or special offer in conjunction or cumulatively with another discount or special offer.
- Member benefits associated with the Program include but not limited to discounts, entitlements, privileges, rewards, complimentaries and special offers.
- SJM is not responsible for products or services offered by other companies that participates in our programs, benefits, offers or special promotions provided to members.
- SJM will maintain records of transactions carried out by the Member for the purposes of administering and managing Member account (including but not limited to the processing of the award and redemption of Reward Points and the processing of special offers enjoyed by Member), for so long as Member account remains valid.
- Enquiries concerning a member’s account must be undertaken by the member personally with proof of identity.
- Members may terminate their Membership by approaching any Counter in person with proof of valid government-issued photo identification documents / travel documents.
- The decision of SJM management is absolute and final in the event of any dispute.
- Should there be any discrepancy in Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
